Members of the New People party backed repressive laws against politically persecuted Russians
A package of laws against those who “left” Russia and politically persecuted Russians was passed yesterday by the State Duma with unanimous support from all parties. The only person in the faction who did not vote was Sardana Avksentyeva, Faridaily writes.
New People also supported the adoption of the repressive laws despite the image of a party of common sense that the Kremlin had tried to create.
