Rosneft gas stations, as well as Bashneft and TNK, which are part of the company, have banned sales of gasoline into canisters in connection with “heightened seasonal demand” in all regions of Russia. Hotline operators reported this, Verstka found out.

“Due to heightened seasonal demand, refueling is only into the vehicle’s fuel tank. This applies to all gas stations in the Rosneft, Bashneft, and TNK network. This information is provided for all customers in Russia. The restrictions are temporary,” the operator added.

In addition, support said that the network has restrictions on refueling vehicles directly into the tank. According to the operator, this information should be уточнить at the gas station “in the moment,” since conditions may change: “One thing today, another tomorrow.”

Another operator from the company’s support service said that “as a rule” gas stations have a limit on refueling a vehicle of 90 liters, without specifying in which regions these limits are in effect. He added that information about 20-30 liter restrictions had not reached the hotline, and also advised checking the details at the gas stations themselves.

🩵Because of the fuel crisis, gas stations in many regions of Russia are introducing restrictions on gasoline sales. These include limits on the number of liters for refueling, a ban on filling canisters, as well as the issuance of vouchers for purchases.
