The State Duma has passed a law on free IVF for military widows

State Duma deputies approved the corresponding amendments to the law "On Veterans" in both the second and third, final readings at once.

After the law takes effect, the wives of participants in combat operations and disabled combat veterans, as well as widows of war participants who have not remarried within five years of their husbands' deaths, will be able to use assisted reproductive technologies, including IVF, free of charge.
