State Duma deputy Anton Nemkin and Yevgeny Zhulanov, a partner of Orthodox oligarch Konstantin Malofeev, who are defendants in the case involving the theft of $450 million from the Wex crypto exchange, created the airline Dreamjet, Verstka has found. They were helped by former security officers who had been accused of corruption and torture.
Dreamjet appeared only in 2020 and has already become one of the biggest players in Russia's business aviation market. In 2025 alone, the company earned nearly 4 billion rubles in revenue - that is more than market veterans Meridian and Tulpar, which have been operating since the 1990s.
The recipients of this money, Zhulanov and Nemkin, are hiding behind former FSB and Interior Ministry employees who have been installed as nominal owners and directors of the companies. For example, the formal owner of the air carrier can be called former FSB operative Denis Krokhmal - he controls 99% of AviaInvestGroup, the company that owns Dreamjet.
Five aircraft with a total value of more than $54 million are available for booking on the carrier's website. Four of them arrived in Russia after the start of the war with Ukraine and the introduction of sanctions.
Dreamjet's aircraft are now being actively used. In just the first 10 days of June, they made 45 flights. And in August last year, one of the company's planes was used by Kirill Dmitriev for a flight to the Putin-Trump summit in Alaska.
