Russia’s Defense Ministry said that the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra was hit by a missile from the American-made Patriot surface-to-air missile system:

“One of the reasons for this system’s malfunction may have been that Western countries supplied the Kyiv regime with missiles whose expiration dates had passed.”

The Defense Ministry also said that a UAV production workshop was located on the grounds of the Oleksandr Dovzhenko Film Studio.

“The Russian Armed Forces do not plan and do not carry out strikes on civilian infrastructure facilities,” the ministry’s statement says.
