The May 9 parade on Red Square will take place without a column of military hardware, the Russian Defense Ministry said. This was explained by the “current operational situation.”

Peskov on holding the May 9 parade without military hardware because of the “terrorist threat”:

“The Kyiv regime, which is losing land on the battlefield every day, has now gone all-in on terrorist activity, so against the backdrop of this terrorist threat, of course, every measure is being taken to minimize the danger. The parade will take place, but let us still not forget that last year it was an anniversary parade, large-scale, the kind that should happen on a round date. Military hardware will not take part in the May 9 parade on Red Square for the first time since 2007.
