Prosecutors seek three years in a penal colony for blogger Aleksandra Mitroshina
The prosecutor's office has asked that blogger Aleksandra Mitroshina be sentenced to three years in a penal colony in a case on laundering money on an especially large scale, "Caution, News" reports.
🔵In 2023, a case was opened against Aleksandra Mitroshina over tax non-payment. At the time, she said that she had fully repaid the debt, and the case was closed.
In March 2025, Mitroshina was detained and faced a new charge, this time of money laundering. From that point on, the blogger was under house arrest.
