Flights of light and ultralight aircraft, as well as civilian drones, will be restricted over Moscow and nearby regions
Starting June 20, Rosaviatsia will restrict flights of light and ultralight aircraft, as well as civilian drones, at altitudes of up to 5.2 kilometers, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) said in a statement.
The restrictions will apply over Moscow and parts of the Moscow, Ryazan, Tver, Yaroslavl, and Vladimir regions. They were introduced at the request of the Defense Ministry until further notice, Rosaviatsia added.
The ban does not apply to state and experimental aviation.
