Lukashenko apologized to Zelensky and also said there is no point in expecting military action from Belarus.
Recently you spoke unflatteringly about Zelensky, calling him a scumbag.
I kept silent, but when they started threatening me, I was forced to respond. If Volodymyr Oleksandrovych was offended, I apologize to him for those words; maybe I should not have spoken so sharply about it after all, considering that he is still at war. But, on the other hand, he should understand that we often say: "As the song goes, so the funeral goes." So one has to be more careful and cautious.
All the more so because he understands perfectly well that no kind of military action should be expected from Belarus, and especially not from me.
I would not get too carried away.
Especially since otherwise Lukashenko was repeating Putin's talking points,
▪️that Russia is just about to encircle the Ukrainian grouping in Donbas,
▪️that Putin had already been in Kyiv and withdrew the troops in order to negotiate, but was deceived,
▪️that Zelensky was pushed into fighting by Jews and the Pope. (What? Yes!)
But if anyone is worried about an invasion from Belarus, it is not exactly time to breathe easy, but it does not look as though he wants to and can fight Ukraine, at least for now.
An Apology With The Same Script
Lukashenko apologized to Zelensky and ruled out Belarus attacking.
The insult got revised, the script did not.
