Russians, don’t thank us. Another commander-zeroer has been eliminated in Ukraine.

In May, it became known that Peter Yakovlevich Ilkhom, callsign “Shark,” commander of an assault detachment of the 80th Tank Regiment, had been killed. In the first months of the invasion, Ilkhom and his unit occupied the village of Bohdanivka in Kyiv Oblast, where they committed torture and murders of local residents.

“Shark” became known thanks to the “Zeroers” project run by the outlet Verstka, which collects testimony about butcher-commanders in the Russian army. One of the assault troops told journalists about his commander:

"“Shark” gave the order to zero a guy with the callsign “Fixa,” who had no weapon, no body armor. Because he refused to go expose the hohols’ position. With nothing. He said: ‘Until I get Hero of Russia, all of you will keep dropping under me.’

‘He made all the boys write down the PIN codes to their cards. And hand everything over to him before the mission. But since he wasn’t there, I collected the cards on the commander’s orders. And I handed them over to the commander. Naturally, none of the relatives got the cards, because there were so many dead. Practically all of them.’"

Like all butchers from the Russian Armed Forces, “Shark” advanced well in service and had many awards. Well, he won’t be able to kill anymore.
