A Moscow Region resident was killed in an overnight UAV attack, and six more people were injured, Governor Andrey Vorobyov said.

According to the official, three of the injured were hospitalized, while three others received medical assistance at the scene. Private houses, outbuildings, and cars were damaged in the Istra, Volokolamsk, and Domodedovo districts.

Sobyanin said that 650 UAVs had been flying toward the Moscow region since the evening, and that most of them were shot down at distant approaches.

UPD: The death toll has risen to two, and the number of injured to nine.

Distant Defenses Did Not Save Homes

After the overnight attack near Moscow, two died and nine were injured.

Most were downed; people still paid.
