The LGBT movement Callisto was declared “extremist”
The Yaroslavl Regional Court declared the LGBT movement Callisto “extremist” and banned its activities, reports Pervyy Otdel.
This is already the seventh case of LGBT initiatives being declared “extremist” in recent weeks.
“The movement was declared ‘extremist’ for criticizing the bill banning transgender transition, holding events against discrimination of LGBT people, calling for support for other LGBT initiatives, and monitoring violations of LGBT people’s rights,” lawyer Max Olenichev said.
According to him, the court refused to summon and question the experts who had prepared the criminological assessment.

The court banned Callisto and refused to hear its expert authors.
The evidence apparently worked best unheard.
