Igor Strelkov (Girkin) is not the first in the Z camp to say that a new mobilization is already pointless at this stage; Razvedos and Fighterbomber said so earlier, and even on Komsomolskaya Pravda radio the argument was voiced that swapping "a truckload of people for a truckload of drones" is a dead end.

But coming from Strelkov, the chief apostle of mass mobilization, this sounds like a revelation.

A few points from his April 27 post:

▪️Mobilization was needed in the spring of 2022, the spring of 2023, the spring of 2024, and maybe even the spring of 2025. Now mobilization is catastrophically late. Now mobilization, in the form in which the bulk of the population understands it, will bring no result.

▪️The time when we could have won, trampled the enemy, driven him into the ground with masses of infantry, has unfortunately already ended. It existed in '22, in '23, and in '24. In '25 it was already doubtful, and in '26 it simply no longer exists.

▪️What is happening now is a drone war, and drones are capable of destroying any amount of infantry sent into battle on any front, no matter how wide. The enemy has set up such production of drones and missiles in Europe and Ukraine that it is now capable of holding the front almost with them alone, which is in fact what is happening.

▪️Large masses of people and equipment will be destroyed without achieving any success. Time has been lost. Peskov's statement that only a few kilometers of Donbas remain before a peaceful settlement is, excuse me, a lie and a bluff. Well, which is, frankly speaking, not news for this person or for the department he represents.

▪️ Whether it is a few kilometers or a few dozen kilometers, war must be fought in order to win, not in order to advance a few kilometers while paving them with the corpses of your own soldiers.

▪️Right now, you can mobilize as many people to the front as you like, they will not be able to turn the outcome of the war around. That moment has passed.

▪️I called for mobilization for four years. Now I no longer call for the mobilization I spoke about before, because it is meaningless. We, our economy, do not even have enough weapons to arm them.
