In Omsk, a drone hit the “northern industrial hub”

Governor Vitaly Khotsenko reported this.

Air defenses of the Russian Defense Ministry shot down most of the UAVs that attacked our region. One drone reached the northern industrial hub. Emergency services are working at the scene,

Khotsenko wrote on social media.

Earlier, Ukrainian monitoring channels wrote that Russia’s largest oil refinery had been attacked in Omsk. Khotsenko said that “the situation is under control.”

🔵Ukraine had already attacked this plant on July 6. At that time, the Omsk refinery suspended operations because of damage to a primary oil refining unit, which accounts for about 38% of the plant’s capacity. Another unit, which provides 37% of capacity, was also stopped.
