Ukrainian drones struck the Omsk oil refinery

The Omsk oil refinery has once again come under attack by Ukrainian drones. Ukrainian monitoring channels, including Exilenova+ and Astra, reported a strike on Russia’s largest oil refinery.

Omsk Region Governor Vitaly Khotsenko announced that “air defense forces continue to repel an attack by enemy UAVs” and that “the situation is under control,” but did not disclose details.

Omsk public channels, reports Govorit NeMoskva, are writing about explosions in the city and air-raid sirens.

Ukrainian drones already attacked the Omsk refinery in July 2026. At that time, the enterprise was forced to suspend operations. Because of the drone strikes, Reuters sources reported, among other things, the refinery’s AVT-10 primary crude distillation unit (CDU-10), which accounts for about 38% of the plant’s capacity, was damaged.
