Despite all the resonance in the media and society, Russia still continues to massively involve citizens of Central Asian states in the war against Ukraine. Residents of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan sign contracts with the Russian Ministry of Defense and have been dying in someone else’s war for years already.
