Court decided to deport a foreigner from Russia over a review of a skirt on Wildberries

In Tula, a court arrested a foreigner for five days and ordered him deported from the country after he left a review of a skirt.

In September 2025, the young man left a review of a skirt on the Wildberries website: “Wonderful little skirt! It hides not only figure flaws, but even the fact that I’m a guy.” He also attached a photo of himself wearing the skirt.

In the judge’s opinion, in this way the foreigner “openly demonstrated the attractiveness of non-traditional sexual attitudes.”

“The dissemination of beliefs and preferences concerning sexual orientation and specific forms of sexual relations must not infringe on the dignity of other persons or cast doubt on public morality as understood in Russian society,” the ruling says.

The young man was found guilty under the article on “LGBT propaganda.”
