The death toll from the Russian missile strike on Kyiv Region has risen to ten people, with about 100 injured
This was reported by Ukrainian Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko.
Acting head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Ruslan Oliinyk said that a “private training ground” in Bucha district was hit. The Ukrainian Council of Gunsmiths had earlier indicated that an event involving representatives of the defense industry was taking place there, and that its location had not been public.
The Office of the Prosecutor General is carrying out procedural oversight in criminal proceedings under the article on violating the laws and customs of war, Kravchenko noted. Criminal proceedings have also been opened under the article on official negligence “in organizing and conducting the event, which led to deaths and other grave consequences.”
“The investigation will determine who made the decisions to hold the event, who approved the place, time, and format of its conduct, what security measures were предусмотрены and whether the risks were properly assessed under martial law,” the Ukrainian prosecutor general noted.
