Human Rights Council head Valery Fadeyev acknowledged the need to use VPNs.
“VPN is an integral part of the big internet. Banks, business, and communication with foreign countries run through VPN channels. You can’t just up and switch off VPN altogether right now. There will be real economic problems. This has to be handled very delicately,” he explained to journalists.
Yesterday, Fadeyev claimed that he himself does not use tools to bypass restrictions. He also said that Russians who use VPNs are “looking for what the enemy is saying.”
