The FSB detained a Moscow Region resident for “intimidation actions” against three servicemen
The security service itself reported this. According to its version, the detainee was recruited on Telegram by a representative of Ukrainian special services under the guise of work at a debt-collection agency.
“Acting on his handler’s assignment, he agreed to the proposed work and in May 2026 carried out so-called ‘intimidation actions’ at the residential addresses of three servicemen of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation,” the statement says.
No details were provided about what these actions consisted of.
A criminal case on hooliganism has been opened against the detainee. The authorities are also considering opening a treason case against him.
