Russia Restricts Imports of Foreign Satellite Terminals, Including Starlink

The Russian government has imposed a ban on importing into the country equipment used to work with foreign satellites, including dual-use devices. This refers to terminals capable of transmitting or receiving signals from communications spacecraft belonging to foreign states.

An exception will be made only for devices for which the importer has a State Commission for Radio Frequencies decision allocating the necessary bands.
