Thirty-eight-year-old Andrei Andreyevich Migur from Krasnoyarsk is quite a colorful character. Half German, he calls himself a nationalist, is a former convict, and is covered in various tattoos.

Like many of the new recruits now replenishing the Russian occupation army, he signed a contract so he would not have to serve his sentence in prison. But the war turned out to be nothing like what they show on television or what the political officers talk about. The “special military operation” turned out to be much worse than prison, and Andrei regretted his decision more than once.

They were sent into attacks literally over the corpses of their predecessors: the unit suffered enormous losses because of the “f#cked-up command” sending people like him to their deaths.
