Ukrainian Armed Forces struck three Russian car ferries at the Kerch crossing

The Ukrainian Telegram channel Exilenova+ published video of three burning vessels. According to Agentstvo, the footage was filmed between the port of Kavkaz and Kerch. In total, five car ferries operated at the Kerch crossing.

The video was filmed from an access road northeast of the port of Kavkaz, as indicated by smoke from a burning oil depot in Kerch. South of the oil depot are the place where the Crimean Bridge meets the Crimean shore and the bridge arch for ships to pass through.

The vessels in the video are not warships, a representative of the Conflict Intelligence Team research group told Agentstvo. “Military ones would be gray,” the analyst explained.

The video clearly shows that the second and third vessels, closer to the person filming, are white-blue or white-light-blue — the colors of the large car ferries at the Kerch crossing. The third ferry also has a visible inclined platform for vehicles and other equipment to drive on.

🔵In the morning, Krasnodar Krai authorities confirmed only an attack on the Panagia car ferry.

🔵After the attack, operations at the Kerch ferry crossing were temporarily suspended. Krasnodar Krai authorities recommended using the land route through occupied Ukrainian territories to travel to Crimea.
