In Ukraine, the organizer of a military exhibition near Kyiv, where ten people were killed and around a hundred were injured in a Russian attack, has been detained
This was reported by the country's Prosecutor General, Ruslan Kravchenko.
"According to the investigation, one of the arms dealers' associations, without any coordination with the military command, the regional and district military administrations, or other authorized bodies, organized a large-scale event involving military personnel, representatives of government agencies, international partners, and business. The program specifically included a demonstration of air defense systems," he noted.
According to Kravchenko, more than 300 people were invited to the exhibition, while the nearest shelter was located about 100 meters from the event site.
"This means that from the very beginning, hundreds of people were in conditions of obvious security risk. Invitations were sent out nine days before the event, and the exact place and time were communicated a day in advance. The investigation is checking whether these actions could have contributed to the enemy gaining the opportunity to prepare a targeted strike," he added.
The detained chief organizer of the exhibition has been charged with official negligence.
