State Duma urges people not to believe reports of a new mobilization in Russia

The authorities are not planning a new wave of mobilization, said Andrei Kolesnik, a member of the State Duma Defense Committee.

“There is no talk whatsoever of any new wave of mobilization; I have not heard about it even once. Especially since the ranks of contract soldiers are being replenished. Both contract soldiers and people in volunteer formations are going to defend their homeland. It is an honorable duty to defend the Motherland,” Kolesnik said.
