Zelensky Again Says Belarus Is Showing "Specific Activity" on the Border with Ukra...

Zelensky again said there was "specific activity" by Belarus on the border with Ukraine:

"On the eve of this, there was quite specific activity on sections of the border between Ukraine and Belarus from the Belarusian side. We are closely recording everything, we are keeping everything under control. If necessary, we will respond. Ukraine is ready to defend its people, its sovereignty, and everyone who is being drawn into any kind of aggressive activity against Ukraine must understand this."

A few hours ago, the InsiderUA channel reported that two Belarusian helicopters had been spotted flying 2-3 km from the border with Kyiv and Chernihiv regions. The purpose of the flights is unknown.

Andriy Kovalenko, head of the CCD of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, also responded to the reports of activity from Belarus:

"All their actions in the border area are being recorded; from that side, at most minor provocations are possible, and those will cost the Belarusian side more dearly. Nothing more. So it would be better for Belarusians not to do them."

That is, essentially, all the information there is.

We need to see what kind of helicopters those were; most likely they were conducting some kind of reconnaissance, and if so, what kind? Maybe we will learn some details later. But. There has been no information about offensive groupings being deployed on Belarusian territory. The main sign of preparations for an invasion is the deployment of offensive groupings, and that had not been recorded as of this moment. We will keep watching.
