Assimi Goita's military junta and the Russian "Africa Corps" withdrew from the strategic military base of Tessalit in northern Mali.

This was reported by the French outlet RFI citing local sources.

There are also geolocated videos from Tessalit (2-4), where rebels from the Azawad Liberation Front pose against the backdrop of abandoned equipment from government forces and the "Africa Corps."

I quickly added the changes to the Wiki map from April 26 to May 1 (timelapse 1).

🟩 - Azawad Liberation Front (Tuaregs advocating for their own independent state);

⬜️ - "Jama'at Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin" (Al-Qaeda jihadists, but less radical);

⬛️ - "Wilayat al-Sahel" (effectively the local branch of ISIS).

At this stage, the ALF and "Jama'at" are situational allies and are acting as a united front.

As you can see, the green zone in the north has expanded. In addition to Tessalit, the Tuaregs captured a number of settlements on the outskirts of Timbuktu, and also slightly expanded the area under their control on the border with Mauritania (the settlement of Lere moved into the green zone).

Of the settlements in northern Mali still controlled by Goita's junta and the "Africa Corps," only Aguelhok and Anefis remain.

You can also see on the rest of the map that there is slightly less red and slightly more white: these are "Jama'at" jihadists pushing out Goita's junta and the "Africa Corps."

In Gao, Goita's junta and the "Africa Corps" are fighting "Wilayat al-Sahel"; the map indicates divided control over the city. So far, Gao is the only area where ISIS has become more active.
