Moscow refinery is unlikely to resume operations in 2026 — Reuters

The Moscow oil refinery will not operate for at least six months after suffering serious damage as a result of drone attacks, Reuters writes, citing two industry sources.

“Repairs will take at least six months,” the agency quotes one of its interlocutors as saying.

Gazprom Neft, which operates the refinery, did not respond to Reuters’ request for comment.

🔵This month, the Moscow refinery was attacked twice by Ukrainian drones. The second strike on the refinery damaged an oil-processing unit that accounts for 47% of the plant’s capacity, Reuters reported.
