The Justice Ministry created a digital version of an exhibition about “enemies of the state.” It includes a section with cards for all “foreign agents,” featuring photos and descriptions of their “harmful” activities

The exhibition section “Defending the Sovereignty of the Russian State. History and the Present Day” appeared on the ministry’s website.

“For centuries, our country has been an active participant in geopolitical struggle and has continuously faced attempts to violate its sovereignty. These efforts were often disguised as selfless assistance, yet each time they pursued the same goals: to seize territory or resources, install an obedient ruler, or provoke internal conflicts that would contribute to worsening Russia’s position on the international stage,” the project description says.

It presents eight chronological sections from the 16th century to the present day. The final section consists of people and organizations that the Justice Ministry considers “foreign agents.”

Journalists, activists, human rights defenders, media outlets, and other organizations placed on this list now have cards with photographs and descriptions of their “harmful” activities.

TV Rain also has such a card.

In 2025, the Justice Ministry began holding the exhibition “Defending the Sovereignty of the Russian State. History and the Present Day” in cities across Russia. It was shown, among other places, in Tula and Chelyabinsk regions, and in Perm and Stavropol krais.
