Israel’s largest airline and national carrier El Al Airlines has suspended flights to Moscow
The company has provisionally canceled three flights from Tel Aviv to Moscow on June 25, 28, and 29. According to ATOR, ticket sales may resume no earlier than July.
A representative of El Al Airlines told Reuters that the carrier’s decision was connected “with the development of the situation between Russia and Ukraine, as well as recent aviation incidents in the region.”
The company will review the situation next week and may decide to resume flights. Passengers on the canceled flights will be offered alternative options.
ATOR said that direct air service between Israel and Russia is being maintained by Russian carriers.
