A serviceman from Voronezh Region recorded an appeal to Putin — and threatened him with mutiny. The video gained 3.5 million views in several hours

Alexander Lunin — a serviceman from Voronezh Region who fought in Ukraine and runs a blog on Instagram and other platforms — recorded an appeal to Vladimir Putin.

In four hours, the video gathered more than 3.5 million views and more than 125 thousand likes on Instagram.

In the recording, Lunin claims that on June 24 and 25 officials met with him, including people from the Defense Ministry and security agencies. According to him, they gave him a certain message for the Russian president, “that if he does not grant an audience live on air, I will tell the whole truth about what is happening in our country right now.”

At the same time, the blogger did not specify why the officials decided to choose him for this mission.

At this moment, tens, hundreds, thousands of our soldiers are sitting in zindans (in pits — Meduza’s note), punished by their commanders. They are sitting, rotting, being subjected to torture and violence by so-called Gestapo. For refusing to carry out stupid suicidal orders. For refusing to hand over their financial resources.
