Lukashenko said he met with “Zelensky’s representatives”

Alexander Lukashenko said that during a meeting with “Zelensky’s representatives,” he asked them to tell the Ukrainian president that “if he thinks he can talk to us like that and also drag us into the war, then he must understand that the quality of the war will change instantly.”

According to him, Belarus allegedly received a response that Kyiv “understands this.” Lukashenko said that it is necessary to “negotiate substantively,” and not “try to punch [someone] in the face in Russian style.”

And there is no need to push us toward what Boris Vyacheslavovich [Gryzlov] is organizing — a process to drag us into the war. The president of Russia and I have discussed this topic a thousand times. Well, how can we fight Ukrainians here if on the other side there are mainly territorial defense troops? Are we supposed to shoot at those machine operators, milkmaids, and working guys who do not want to fight Belarusians? We also do not want to fight Ukrainians,

he said.

According to Lukashenko, “our position is peace-loving,” but Belarus will be “alongside Russia” in any situation.

🔵Earlier, Zelensky issued an ultimatum to Lukashenko, demanding that within a week Belarus dismantle Russian repeaters on its territory that correct drone attacks. On June 24, Zelensky said that Belarus had turned off the repeaters.

Peacefulness Beside Russia’s Button

Lukashenko claimed contacts with Kyiv and loyalty to Russia.

Belarusian neutrality again stands next to the repeaters.
