Duma typists, cleaners, and cooks will make sure to give MP Ostanina a “blanket party” on the way out.

Ostanina’s arguments:

“Domostroy” is a concentrate of spirituality. According to it, Orthodox Russian marriage rests on “fear and humiliation of the woman.”

The church teaches that strong marital bonds are possible only when the “unclean and cunning creature is kept in eternal terror.”

All this, of course, does not harmonize in any way with any “law on domestic violence.”
